Elm

A beautiful warm brown and white coloured wood, highly grained and with a distinctive ‘partridge-breast’ figure. An unusual quality of elm is its ‘unsplittability’ caused by a stepped pattern of its wood fibres.

Our Elm Boards are kiln-dried 6%-8%MC. Knots are pre-filled and the flooring is pre- sanded to 120 grit. All boards are stress grooved and tongue and grooved to 4 sides.
